A Didactic, of Sorts
In networking, applications often split data into smaller pieces, called packets, to make them
easier to send and receive. Packets can be sent “out of order” and reassembled on the other side.
Packet sniffing refers to the process of monitoring or inspecting packet data. Network
administrators use packet sniffing to monitor the health of their networks and troubleshoot any issues.
Some people use it for...more nefarious purposes.
This project takes the term sniffing literally, wondering what it would be like to actually
smell your data.
